Workwell’s IR35 COMPLETE ASSESSMENT TOOL

Our in-house IR35 assessment tool is a quick and easy way to assess your contractors and manage your supply chain. At Workwell, our experts understand all aspects of IR35 and Status Determination Statements so that you don’t have to. But, if you’re interested in learning more about IR35 assessments and how we can help you start assessing your contingent workforce, please download our comprehensive guide.

IR35 reforms (off-payroll reforms) in the private sector have been delayed until April 2021 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The reforms will mean that large businesses in the private sector will now be responsible for determining a contractor’s IR35 status and ensuring the correct taxes are paid. Liability for correct taxation will ultimately rest with end hirers, but HMRC will often look to collect first from employment agencies for any unpaid tax following successful status challenges.

However, the delay until next year is good news for agencies, end hirers, and contractors alike. As an agency you’ll now have the time to individually assess your contractors, taking the time to discuss and advise them on their new working options depending on their status. Individual assessments will provide you with a great advantage, allowing you to maintain your talented contingent workforce by treating them fairly and maintaining a great working relationship. We can help you to start assessing your workforce with ease with our new IR35 complete assessment tool.

IR35 Complete from Workwell

Our IR35 complete assessment tool is a practical, holistic solution to your compliance obligations. It can be used to assess roles and individual engagements to provide all members of the supply chain with insurable Status Determination Statements (SDS). IR35 Complete is designed to give you complete control and transparency throughout the supply chain, with the ability to manage the engagement of contractors from status determination to payroll provider.

At your agency’s prompt, relevant members of the supply chain will complete a simple, clear set of online questions to deliver a HMRC-compliant status determination. This will allow your agency to continue using PSC contractors with confidence and have informed conversations with your end hirers.

We’ll help you come up with an action plan to manage your contingent workforce, with high quality, individual assessments at its core. This can include presenting ‘inside’ IR35 contractors with your choice of umbrella partners and helping others to amend their contracts or working practices so that they can remain operating ‘outside’ with confidence.

Our tool also allows you to access summary reports whenever you need them for easy compliance and auditing. Plus, we’ll help you reassess contractors at necessary intervals or when they start a new assignment to ensure they remain compliant as roles change.
